Hi It's Ms. Cee! I am the founder and creator of "The Reel Read Kidz Corner" reading channel. I am a proud mom of 2 beautiful human beings named Aniya and Jaylen, a third grade teacher, a writer and soon to be author!
In August 2010, I began working on my two urban blogs called Undergroundz Highlighted Heat and Talk is Cheap - Drop a dime on em.
In 2015, I decided to put my writing on hold to continue my education. In 2018, I proudly earned a Masters of Science in Childhood Education.
As a 3rd grade teacher, I have noticed many students struggle with the basic foundational skills required to become good readers. These essentials skills include phonemic awareness, the ability to decode new words, reading fluency, and comprehension.
My work as an elementary school teacher has inspired me to develop The Reel Read Kidz Corner. The Reel Read Kidz Corner is a site dedicated to giving families the tools and resources to help develop strong readers. My mission is to reel-in students and get them hooked on reading!
